Elective Review Project for Years 8, 9, and 10 in 2026
Lourdes Hill College is pleased to announce the launch of an Elective Review Project aimed at refining the elective offerings for students in Years 8, 9 and 10 from 2026. This initiative reflects our commitment to delivering a meaningful and dynamic curriculum that supports the diverse interests and aspirations of our students.
As part of the review process, feedback will be gathered from key members of our College community. Students will be invited to share their thoughts through a survey scheduled for next week—an important opportunity for them to have a voice in shaping their future learning experiences.
Parents and Caregivers are also warmly invited to contribute. If you would like to share your thoughts on our current elective offerings or suggest areas for consideration, please contact Ms Kath Perrier, Dean of Curriculum, at [email protected].
This project reflects Lourdes Hill College’s ongoing commitment to fostering creativity, collaboration, and personalised learning. By tailoring elective options to student needs and interests, we aim to empower every student to thrive academically while exploring her passions.
We look forward to working in partnership with our community as we continue to enhance the learning experience for all students.
Class of 2022
My Diploma gave me a strong foundation in key business concepts, theories and practices, which I’m now building on through my university studies. It provided a real head start, so much of what I learnt has been directly applicable to my assignments.
I’m currently studying a double degree in Business (Management) and Property Economics, which I’m really enjoying. I’m about to finish my second year (halfway through!) with a GPA of 6.
The Diploma has been especially valuable in the business side of my degree, and the credit points I received reduced my course by a full semester. Honestly, doing the Diploma was one of the best decisions I made.
I’m still working casually at Jocelyn’s Provisions, but I’m now looking to secure a role in my field in the new year.

While preparing to head to college in the US in early 2025, I was working in childcare. I’m excited to share that I’ve been offered a scholarship and a place on the D1 Soccer team at the College of Southern Idaho!
As a VET student, completing the Certificate III in Business opened up new opportunities and gave me the confidence to step outside my comfort zone. It was a great foundation that helped prepare me for what’s next.
