The Lourdes Hill Foundation aims to support the future growth of the College, ensuring generations of LHC students can receive the opportunity to be a transforming Benedictine presence in our world.
As a registered charity and deductible gift recipient, gifts directed to the Lourdes Hill Foundation Scholarship Fund or Building Fund, are tax deductible.
Donate NowThe LHC Wall of Stars is a beautiful feature on Soubirous Place that serves as a celebration of the rich history of LHC, while raising important funds for the Lourdes Hill Foundation. The Wall is decorated with stars and personalised plaques that acknowledge the generous donors in our community.
Since 1916, Lourdes Hill College students have been a transforming Benedictine presence in our world. As a celebration of LHC’s Centenary in 2016, we provided our extended community with a tangible opportunity to leave their own legacy within the College.
Each star features an intricate design highlighting the olive branch from our College badge, symbolising the ongoing growth of our Benedictine ethos. Every member of the Lourdes Hill College community, past and present, is a star.
Members of our community are invited to purchase a star at one of three levels of contribution:

All donations are tax-deductible and plaques will be mounted and blessed on Lourdes Day each year.

Our annual giving appeal is an integral part of the work of the Foundation. The Lourdes Hill Foundation's Annual Appeal is currently raising funds to support the Scholarship Fund, providing for a variety of opportunities for both current and prospective students.

Creating a will ensures that the legacy of your hard work is passed on to your loved ones and the causes close to your heart. A bequest is not just a gift—it's a lasting legacy that will continue to impact future generations of Lourdes Hill College students.
Lourdes Hill College recommends consultation with a solicitor in drawing or amending a Will. It is also recommended that you discuss with family members, and others impacted by your choice, your wishes to make a bequest to the College.
Suggested wording:
A gift of a fixed percentage of your estate allows you to nominate a specific percentage of your estate to Lourdes Hill College. Example wording for this type of gift is:
“I (Name) GIVE AND BEQUEATH to LOURDES HILL COLLEGE (ABN 84 010 639 460) of 86 Hawthorne Rd, Hawthorne, Queensland 4171 (the College) for its general purposes* (insert percentage in words and figures) percent of my estate, after payment of all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses and probate, estate or other duties payable out of my estate or in consequence of my death free and clear of all duties. I declare that the receipt of a director or other authorised officer of the College shall be sufficient discharge to my executor."
*If there is a specific purpose (and not a general purpose), it should be noted here.
OR
"I (Name) GIVE AND BEQUEATH to LOURDES HILL COLLEGE (ABN 84 010 639 460) of 86 Hawthorne Rd, Hawthorne, Queensland 4171 (the College), to be applied by the College in such a manner as its directors may determine my (insert description of gift). I declare that the receipt of a director or other authorised officer of the College shall be sufficient discharge to my executor."

A gift of a specific sum of money ensures you know the exact value of your gift regardless of the value of your estate. Example wording for this type of gift is:
"I (Name) GIVE AND BEQUEATH a legacy in the sum of (insert amount in words) to LOURDES HILL COLLEGE (ABN 84 010 639 460) of 86 Hawthorne Rd, Hawthorne, Queensland 4171 (the College) to be applied by the College in such a manner as its directors may determine. I declare that the receipt of a director or other authorised officer of the College shall be sufficient discharge to my executor."
