|Building Young Entrepreneurs at LHC! - 28 October 2016|
Our Middle School students were ecstatic at Middle School assembly on Tuesday 11 October when Steve Baxter, one of Australia’s most successful tech entrepreneurs, provided our students with an invaluable insight on Entrepreneurship.
All Years 7-9 Economics and Business students have recently studied the characteristics and behaviours of entrepreneurship, and we were very privileged for Steve to inform our students of his incredible journey as an active investor and mentor to start-up businesses.
Steve’s visit was as a result of one of our Year 7 students, Amy McLeary, deciding to interview him as part of her Entrepreneurship assignment and, subsequently, Steve generously offering to speak to all of our students.
The Business and Technology Faculty is proud to offer our students with a variety of authentic learning experiences and we sincerely thank Steve for his time, inspiring our students to become the next successful young entrepreneurs!
Business is definitely “booming” at LHC!
