CaSSSA Sports Results - 09 May 2016

Wednesday 27 April saw the conclusion oCaSSSA Trimester 1 Sport, with some great results for Lourdes Hill Collegeas follows: 

 

Touch Football (Juniors 7 and 8)  

 

Junior 8A (Div A) 

LHC was defeated by St Rita’s College 3 – 2, finishing 2nd overall 

 

Junior 8B (Div B) 

LHC won 9-1 against Loreto, finishing 3rd overall 

 

Junior 8 (Div D) 

LHC Purple defeated LHC White 3 – 2, finishing 1st and 2nd overall, respectively  

 

Junior 7A (Div B) 

LHC won 7-5 against San Sisto College, finishing 1st overall as undefeated premiers 

 

Junior 7B (Div C) 

LHC was defeated by Mt Alvernia College 1 – 0, finishing 2nd overall 

 

Junior 7 Blue (Div E) 

LHC won 6-1 against St Rita’s Collegefinishing 2nd overall 

 

Junior 7 Green (Div F) 

LHC won 3-0 against Our Lady’s College, finishing 3rd overall 

 

 

AFL (Juniors and Seniors) 

 

Senior A (16-a-side team)  

LHC defeated St John Fisher College, finishing 1st overall as CaSSSA Premiers 

 

Senior B  

LHC was defeated by Brigidine College, finishing 6th overall 

 

Junior A (pictured)  

LHC defeated Brisbane Christian College – finishing 1st overall as CaSSSA Premiers 

 

 

Volleyball (Open and Intermediate) 

 

Open A 

LHC defeated Mt St Michael’s to secure 3rd place overall 

 

Open B  

Finished 7th overall 

 

Intermediate A  

LHC defeated Brigidine College to secure 5th place overall  

 

Intermediate B   

LHC defeated Mt St Michael’s to secure 7th place overall  

 

Intermediate C   

LHC was defeated by San Sisto College, finishing 4th overall  

 

Intermediate D  

LHC was defeated by Loreto, finishing 2nd overall
