LHC kayakers dominate at Currumbin Creek - 02 September 2014

Under the watchful eye of their coaches, Olympian Amanda Rankin and Australian representative Tim Donkin, the LHC kayaking team took to the water for the first time this year in the Queensland Schools Canoe Marathon Championship at Currumbin Creek, Gold Coast.

Lourdes Hill had its largest number of entries on the day with over 30 girls competing in singles and doubles events. The girls were highly competitive against strong competition, with many achieving first, second and third place results in both the singles and doubles events.

Under 14 Girls TK2 - 3km

The team is now preparing for its next challenge: the Queensland Schools Canoe Sprint Championships, to be held at Coomera Waters on Sunday 26 October.
