Tennis girls show their strength - 02 June 2014

2014 LHC Tennis Championships

The annual LHC Tennis Championships were held on Friday 23 May at the Morningside Tennis Centre. Thirty-five students battled it out for the title of 2014 Singles and doubles champions.

Melissa Cassaniti was awarded the Morgan Innes Scholarship for 2015.

Congratulations to all tennis members on a fantastic CaSSSA season, we now look ahead to the Knowles Cup season in term 4. Training for continuing players will commence week 1 of Term 3.

2014 CaSSSA Finals

Six out of our seven tennis teams were successful in making it through to the CaSSSA semi-finals with two teams progressing to the grand final held at the State Tennis Centre at Tennyson on Sunday 25 May. Congratulations to the D1 (Year 9) and E1 (Year 8) teams on this achievement. The E1 team were beaten by All Hallows by only one point, and the D1 team convincingly defeated All Hallows to win the premiership for the second year running.
