|Year 12 Farewell - 23 November 2017|
Last week, the time arrived for our Year 12s to say their goodbyes and leave their final footprints at Lourdes Hill College. The first of three graduation events began on Sunday 12 November, when the Year 12 cohort was able to share stories and reflect back on the journey they all treasured at LHC. While sharing a delicious three course meal prepared by the Greek Club at West End, the girls were able to reminisce about their time at the College while watching a “Then and Now” slideshow featuring their school photographs from Years 8-12.
The girls listened to speeches by the President of the P&F, Andrew Sweeney, our 2017 Co-Captains, Millie and Grace, and past pupil, Jacquelyn Forsythe (nee Lotz, grad. 2007), who warmly welcomed our graduands into the past pupil community. All Year 12 students received a lovely gift from the Past Pupils’ Association, including a badge tin and a past pupil badge, as a keepsake of their years at LHC.
The night concluded with the LHC war cry which demonstrated the pride the entire Year 12 cohort had for Lourdes Hill College, and that once a Lourdanian, always a Lourdanian.
Thank you to the P&F and Cath Parker and her team for making the night possible.
It was a night that the girls will remember forever.
